Guitar & Grooves was created by Bill Phaneuf after years of guitar playing, being affiliated with various bands, and having a lifelong love of music.  "The idea of running a music shop has been a dream for a long time.  Downtown Hudson was the perfect town for this shop, with its energy,  vibe,  retail, restaurants and breweries, and its wonderful culture".    Please stop by to peruse our huge selection of vinyl records and play one of our quality pre-owned guitars in a no pressure, fun environment.   If you need lessons, we have Matt Jacobs to help you get better, or start off from scratch.  And Dan Connell, our tech will get your tired, neglected, beat up or busted guitar back to the best it can be.  Hope to see you soon at the shop!  

 

UPDATE FROM BILL:

We just finished our 5th year in Hudson and we could not be happier.  As we begin our 6th year, we are looking forward to bringing our business to more shows and festivals.  In the shop, we are super stoked to unveil our "VINTAGE ROOM", showcasing cool guitars from the 60s and 70s.  Check out the inventory on the Guitars and Amps Page.  Our lesson business is nearly 50 students  strong, our service and repair business has sweetened up over 400 guitars for the shop and our clientele.  Vinyl records are selling like crazy, and guitars and amps continue to bring in players of all abilities.    Please come see us and check out all the things we have to offer.
